Administrative facilities include an overhead projector and screen with laptop compatibility, dry boards, easels, and WIFI whilst the Estate Office, adjacent to the Castle, offers comprehensive office and administrative support. Meetings and activities at Gordon Castle, away from the normal pressures of frenetic business life, become even more enjoyable cocooned in the sumptuous surroundings, discreet hospitality and mouth watering cuisine.
Gordon Castle has a full sized billiard table, beautiful walks within the historic grounds, tennis court, cycling, and stalking, clay pigeon shooting and archery can be arranged. For golfers there are eighteen golf courses within easy reach of the Castle including Spey Bay, just four miles away. These range from small and challenging rural ones to the magnificent championship courses including Nairn and Castle Stewart, new home of the Scottish Open.
Salmon fishing can be arranged on one of the lower beats of the world renowned River Spey, close to the Castle. The salmon fishing season on the Spey runs from 11th February to 30th September and fish are caught throughout the season. All fishing equipment is provided and experienced Ghillies will be on hand to demonstrate, teach and support.
In addition to Salmon fishing further exciting activities can be arranged on other rivers and the Moray Firth including white water rafting, kayaking, sailing and dolphin watching. Gordon Castle is fully catered and the resident Chef and her team tantalise delegate’s taste buds from the start of the day with delicious breakfasts followed by lunch, afternoon tea and dinner. All produce is locally sourced using only the best from Scotland’s natural larder. The ambience and facilities provided give the business community all the facilities that make a working stay at Gordon Castle a memorable occasion. Daily rates are also available as are options for private lunches and dinners.
